On November 13, 2006, Promoter Fantasy Wrestling was purchased by International Ventures, Inc. for a reported $500,000. Sweeping changes were made to the pay scale for each active participant on the PFW roster, both wrestler and manager/valet alike. Instead of being paid a certain amount for each fan they draw pwer show, each wrestler and manager/valet on the active roster have signed a 12-month contract for amounts ranging from $1000 to $9000 per year. Below is a chart of what each active PFW participant has signed to:

The contracts will not take effect until December 2006, which will give I.V Inc.'s outside auditor an opportunity to go over the financial records as well as the won-loss records for each individual and make any necessary adjustments to make certain that all reported numbers are correct. They assure everybody that they will not take away any monies previously earned. As far as they're concerned, December 2006 records will start with an entirely clean slate, money-wise. The new records will show everybody's yearly salary, plus the amount of any merchandise and logo T-shirt pay each participant accumulates after each show.
(OOC: In other words, gang, I'm making a change to my record keeping, as I've decided to use Version #1 of Graymar's COTG Business Model System, which deals with contracted wrestlers. The only aspects of Version #2 - the pay-per-draw system - that I intend to keep are:
1. The Draw calculation itself [Since, after I've reduced New Fans Earned by about 1/10, it now accurately shows how many fans are actually attending the shows.]
2. The merchandise sales and logo shirt sales
3. The Television Ratings and advertising revenue/loss calculation [Since it's originally part of the COTG-BMS, Version #1.]
I like to tweak things from time to time, in order to see what works best for me. I've also created databases in Microsoft Works for each member of the active roster that'll have records of each show a member was scheduled to appear, whether they competed in an singles or tag team match, whether they won or lost the match [If they win a title, it'll be noted under the win column], How many fans they earned for that night, merchandise pay, and Logo T-shirt Pay. I'll be using these databases to double-check myself to make sure that I'm giving everybody an accurate Draw. So far, as of this writing, I've only got 4 people completely done: Aaron Chiu, Adam Smasher, Jonny Knapik, and Zodiac. I hope to have all of the databases completely updated by the beginning of December 2006, when the contract system will take effect in PFW. If the system works well for me in PFW, I'll probably use them in my OWP-sanctioned promotions.)
